❓ How to Play
Objective
A secret color code is hidden. Your goal is to figure out which colors are in the code and in what order, using as few guesses as possible.
Setup
Choose the code length (3–9 items) — how many colors are in the secret code.
Choose extra decoy colors (0–4) — these are mixed in to make it harder.
The game picks random colors and creates a hidden pattern you must crack.
How to Guess
Tap a color from the palette to place it in the first empty slot.
Tap a filled slot to remove a color and try a different one.
Fill all slots, then press ✅ Check to submit your guess.
Reading Feedback
After each guess, you'll see feedback badges:
✅ Total — correct colors (regardless of position)
🎯 Position — correct color AND correct position
🔄 Misplaced — correct color but wrong position
Tools & Actions
🔒 Lock — lock a slot so Clear/Randomize won't change it.
✓ Confirm — mark a color you're sure is correct (green ring). Click the badge on a slot or the ✓ button under a palette color.
